Abstract
The article emphasizes that theo-linguistics is an emerging field within contemporary Uzbek linguistics that allows an in-depth study of the interrelation between language, culture and religious texts. It analyzes the distinctive features of religious texts and, based on whether a text is revealed by the Creator or authored by humans, distinguishes sacred religious sources from groups of religious texts, revealing their lexical, stylistic and semantic characteristics and their significance from linguistic and cultural perspectives.
