Abstract
This article examines the interaction between cognitive schemas and pragmatic strategies in Uzbek and English digital discourse within the framework of cognitive linguistics and pragmatics. The study focuses on how communicative intentions are formed, conveyed and interpreted in online environments such as social media, forums and comment spaces. The findings show that Uzbek discourse tends to reflect collective identity, indirectness and respect-oriented politeness, whereas English discourse shows a stronger inclination toward directness and self-expression.
